The guy needs his own thread. Only 18 years old. Super impressive start.

I always saw him as a great college type who would struggle in the NBA but I could be wrong. He's a lot more athletic than I recalled.

I'm getting Cooper Flagg vibes without the 3. The way he dominated last night was something crazy. If he gets a 3 ball are we looking at the #1 overall pick?

He's from a family of NFL players. He was a dominant prep player.

If my team drafts him, I'd want him at the 3.

No Ceilings brought up Aaron Gordon as a comp.

That's exactly who I see, too.

Me too, but looks more fluid with enhanced finesse, which gives him more likelihood to be a good #2 option.

I see the Aaron Gordon comps and I see a lot of David Lee in him as well. Definitely high on him as a prospect.

Lee is a fun company offensively. If Peat can hit threes that makes some sense. Millsap might be an upper end comp?

Apparently both his father and brother were linemen in the NFL

In July, I wrote that I see shades of Gordon and Banchero (plus some Rui Hachimura) and I still do. I think Gordon is probably the closest comparison among the two (three) (with Banchero being more skilled on offense but overall worse on defense) but I can definitely see Peat being a superior scorer to Gordon with greater rim pressure.

My comp for him is a leaner, modern-day Marcus Fizer, what do you think?
You can find it, along with the full scouting report (based on the Florida game for now), here:

He doesn't look 6'8" to me. Maybe with sneakers on. Reminds me of Corliss Williamson

CMB measured 6'6.5 I would guess Koa is in that range. Really good athlete with good craftiness finishing inside. Doesn't want to shoot outside 15 feet
I like him but I'm not sure where to mock him.

Looked really good tonight vs ASU. Obviously the athleticism pops, but seen some of his post game and passing as well. Definitely can see the AG comp. Doesn't have too much of a handle like AG has, but obviously that can come.

Good college player, but what do you do with him in the NBA? I have him in the late teens right now, which seems unfair, but I can't come up with a reason to move him up.

If you think he’s like CMB, then certainly Collin’s rookie year and ability to contribute makes Peat more appealing.
