Redraft 2022 - who are the top 10?

Post#1 » by One_and_Done » Mon Feb 9, 2026 10:17 am

It's a really tough draft to evaluate, but who would go top 10 in a redraft of 2022?

My rough thoughts at this time would be:

1. J.Williams (#12)
2. Chet (#2)
3. Paolo (#1)
4. Duren (#13)
5. Keegan Murray (#4)
6. J.Smith Jnr (#3)

Then it gets tough, with a bunch of guys who might end up in the 3-10 range like Braun, Tari Eason, Nembhard, Sharpe, Diabate, Dyson, Kessler, P.Watson, etc. Just a tough, tough draft to call right now, outside of the top 2. Even Paolo at 3rd seems shaky. I have put him 3rd with no confidence I will even have him top 10 in 2 years time.

Chet, JDub and Duren seem like the clear top 3. I think the rest will take more time to be confident about. I'm not sure who I'd take 4th right now.

Agreed.

I think it's early enough that you probably take Banchero 4th and Sharpe 5th and see if either realize their slim star outcome possibilities.

Two years from know is when you can start sliding the bigs and role guys up there if they don't.

Can we not distinguish between “peaked” and “injured”?

he reminds me of keyonte george last year when keyonte still sucked. 16 ppg on 54% TS. lol. straight trash (for a guy who is supposed to be good).

JDub
Holmgren
Banchero
Duren
Nembhard
Watson
Dyson Daniels
Kessler
Jabari Smith
Mark Williams
Moussa Diabate
Sharpe

JDub is the best #1 option on the list, I think Paolo could still easily end up the best on the list. I hope Orlando trades him this year and gets him in an offensive system that can generate spacing. No matter who they have put around him in Orlando, doesn't seem like the team can figure out how to shoot.

24th in 3pm, 23rd in 3pa, 27th in 3p% with a spacing 5, Desmond Bane shooting career worst.

Eason at 4 seems pretty generous.

Sharpe at three is a bit dubious. Admittedly, I haven't watched much of the Blazers but I haven't heard about him having a good season.

This is a fun one to look at because there are a lot of players who are worthy of being in that top-10 conversation. I think this is where I would have them:

1. Chet
2. JDub
3. Duren
4. Banchero
5. Kessler
6. Nembhard
7. Smith
8. Watson
9. Sharpe
10. Murray

Honorable mentions to Mark Williams, Tari Eason, Bennedict Mathurin, Ryan Rollins, Dyson Daniels, Gui Santos, Jaden Ivey, and Christian Braun.

We'll see I guess. Right now I'm not high on him.
