I thought we could try a fun exercise. You get to create your own NBA team from this draft.
Goal
Create the best playoff team 6 years into the future consisting only of players from this draft.
Rules
– Draft at least 8 players to fill out your playoff rotation (you are allowed to draft more) – Use the consensus big board in the spoilers to draft according to the following rules: --- max. 1 player from the top 3 --- max. 2 additional players from the lottery (4-14 range) --- max. 2 additional players from the first round (15-30 range) --- at least 3 additional players outside the first round (listed or unlisted; they just need to be draft eligible)
Spoiler:
1 - Darryn Peterson 2 - AJ Dybantsa 3 - Cam Boozer 4 - Caleb Wilson 5 - Kingston Flemings 6 - Keaton Wagler 7 - Mikel Brown Jr. 8 - Nate Ament 9 - Darius Acuff Jr. 10 - Yaxel Lendeborg 11 - Jayden Quaintance 12 - Thomas Haugh 13 - Hannes Steinbach 14 - Brayden Burries 15 - Koa Peat 16 - Karim López 17 - Braylon Mullins 18 - Labaron Philon Jr. 19 - Bennett Stirtz 20 - Chris Cenac Jr. 21 - Cameron Carr 22 - Patrick Ngongba II 23 - Christian Anderson 24 - Amari Allen 25 - Dailyn Swain 26 - Aday Mara 27 - Joshua Jefferson 28 - Tounde Yessoufou 29 - Isaiah Evans 30 - Morez Johnson Jr. 31 - Henri Veesaar 32 - Motiejus Krivas 33 - Meleek Thomas 34 - Alex Karaban 35 - Tyler Tanner 36 - Flory Bidunga 37 - Dame Sarr 38 - Alex Condon 39 - Braden Smith 40 - Sergio de Larrea 41 - JT Toppin 42 - JoJo Tugler 43 - Milan Momcilovic 44 - Zuby Ejiofor 45 - Neoklis Avdalas 46 - Malachi Moreno 47 - Alijah Arenas 48 - Dash Daniels 49 - Paul McNeil Jr. 50 - Juke Harris 51 - Richie Saunders 52 - Ryan Conwell 53 - Jaden Bradley 54 - Ebuka Okorie 55 - Miles Byrd 56 - Tarris Reed Jr. 57 - Milos Uzan 58 - Darrion Williams 59 - Baba Miller 60 - Kylan Boswell
There's no particular reason why I chose this website's consensus big board besides it being readily available and recently updated.

Good shooters that I really like were a bit harder to come by than I thought.
1. AJ Dybantsa 2. Caleb Wilson and Keaton Wagler 3. Labaron Philon and Aday Mara 4. Krivas, Tanner and Alijah Arenas

Top 1-3 --- Dybantsa (BPA to me though not necessarily the easiest to build around)
Lottery --- Wilson (not an ideal fit with Dybantsa right now but BPA to me) --- Flemings (looking for a PG that can make an impact in a secondary role)
First Round --- Stirtz (unusual choice perhaps but he offers shooting and can handle the ball) --- Carr (I like the fit and his shooting is needed and he should fit in seamlessly)
2nd/Unlisted --- Krivas (BPA to me and need a true C with strength that offers value in a lower-usage role) --- Kharchenkov (adding necessary strength and hustle with solid passing at the Forward position) --- Sharp (adding off-ball shooting in a strong body that can slide into most line-ups) --- Momcilovic (adding more shooting and some size, using him as a match-up specialist) --- Condon (wanted to add a big who could play some 4 and 5 as a back-up and options are limited)
Flemings | Sharp Stirtz | Carr AJ | Kharchenkov Wilson | Momcilovic Krivas | Condon
Back-up PG is not Sharp but the idea would be to have one of Flemings and Stirtz on the court at all times. AJ would obviously also have the ball in his hands quite a bit.

Agreed, though I think this is usually the case before the draft.

Cameron Boozer
Caleb Wilson Brayden Burries
Labaron Philon Dailyn Swain
Henri Veesar Flory Bidunga Ebuka Okorie
It is not so simple make a fit around Booz because i am down on his D and team with him need to be good shooting team, not neccesarilly with a A playmaking at guards.
Caleb Wilson is raw both sides on floor and in same time totally dominant and with promising flashes in self creating back from basket with nice turnaround J, effective footwork at times. I am convinced he is NBA star, but which is crucial for development and possible superstar path is his defense. Can je become DPOY guy? Have a tools, athleticism and motor. His role is not fully clear, seems like cleaner could be direction as elite weakside rim protector, great rebounder and possible solid in switch. Maybe i am high, but Garnett/Giannis mix? Would like Kevin Garnett work at summer individually with Wilson. Alongside Cam? Who is 5? Good questions but talent wise and offensive fit looks best for me in top4 if we can choose two of them. Peterson kind of mystery at the moment so i do not know more details and betting on these.
Burries off ball shooting guard who is very quality disruptor, highly rated scorer inside the arc and probably around 40 percent sniper from 3 at 6+ attempts per game. Glue guy mature guard who not having tunnel vision and could play with ball dominant 1, taking most dangerous perimeter opponent and be a clutch maker? I am in love.
Philon outside of lottery? What a blessing for everyone picking him. Trajectory saying "danger, danger, max upside"
Size and body type only problematic stuff, but he plays tough, not afraid of contact, not running from defensive assingments and is competent rebounder. Making a lot of progress on creating shoots for himself. Efficient in screen game, good pick and roll creator. Not on high volume from downtown, scoring efficient off the dribble and that on combo with very advanced ballhandling and crafty solutions in the paint, so hard to defend this guy. Size and not elite burst could limit his passing game which is really solid. Cheers
Swain another all round young man, this time swingman-wing. One of best slashers in class, become one of leaders of good tournament team which is jump of expectations. Can be passive sometimes, but in this 5 that would not be a problem if he doing other stuff. Maybe people underestimating his potential and maybe i am wrong, but can not deny i am consider his ceiling top8 in draft. Good sign he producing nice as main offensive option and in spot up although his shooting is so so. Would like more cutting and more defensive pride, he has ability. Probably best teams like Thunder, Spurs, Celtics or Pistons target him. He will be back up hustle man there, but i prefer Heat/Grizzlies destination for him where in rebuilding teams he could making a mistakes and rising in secondary playmaking which is area he bought me so far.
Bidunga easy choice - defensive Center, old school value, brings a ton of energy, you always need toughness. I see je transferred to Louisville which is good decision if True. Top20 in next year Draft. Will be 22 years old if everything goes well when he make NBA debut, plenty of time to be not just garbage man dunker spot in offense, especially need to be effective as screener, rolling to basket, find the angles. I know apsolutely elite prospect in Peterson was his guard partner, but his profile is not exactly what suits Flory best. Starting material some day.
Okorie? 18 yr old golden bucket getter, unstoppable when going full speed downhill. Low risk, have to take possible 25 PPG scorer in second round as bench guy now.
Best Estonian ever coming from amazing year for UNC. Shame on Caleb Wilson injury and now i put themselves once again together! Henri is floor spacer 5 who sees the floor well. Pick and roll and Pick and pop threat, who can defend him of second lineups? Putting effort at D side but he is flawed there, like his boards element, similar draft profile to Nikola Vučević and if he is 70 percent of Vooch, all good. If i have to guess, BOS and WSH want him most
Good thread idea, man. Funny

Im not familiar with enough guys to go more than 6
Not sure how anyone could not have Caleb Wilson on their team. He is a free top 3 talent in the lottery.

--- max. 1 player from the top 3-- Dybantsa --- max. 2 additional players from the lottery (4-14 range)-- Wagler, Wilson --- max. 2 additional players from the first round (15-30 range)--- Carr, Peat --- at least 3 additional players outside the first round--- Momciliovic, Krivas, Juke Harris
AJ best player in the draft. Wagler as table setter, shot maker. Wilson, Peat and Krivas as versatile 3 man big rotation. Carr, Juke and Momcilovic as great shooters with size.

I think 4-14 is too wide of range.
I would update the parameters to 1 player top 4 1 player 5-10 2 players 11- 26 2 players 27- 45 1 player 45- undrafted.
I think the teams would be more diverse.
