If players were robots or real life was a video game I'd go with Peterson. Ideal 2026 lead guard that you can win with. A lead guard is more valuable than a wing volume scorer. But you have to take into account the issues he had at Kansas, and his personality worries me a bit. Not enough to move him out of the top three, but I'd give the slight edge to Dybantsa, taking everything into consideration.

Peterson. By all accounts the doctors cleared him to be fine long term, and he plays much better defense between the two. Peterson also already has a reliable jump shot. Lack of assists is a real concern and why I rate him a tier below the usual top guard prospect types, but I'm confident he'll be a good player.

AJ. Peterson is equal in talent but I’m afraid he won’t be able to deal with the 7-month grind.

Even without the DP red flags, AJ is a better prospect for me.
