Just curious as to what it takes to get into the lottery.Miami has 3 second round picks.Could they use all 3 for a Late 1? or early 1?

I do not think you can have a standard value chart. Football is much more of a crap-shoot and there are so many more picks.

No value chart for the NBA. Frankly, there can never be one. The draft is just too small, and there's way too much variation in talent from year to year for a value chart to be in place. It's almost always dependent on the draft class, in terms of what the values for picks are.

I think that as has been said there isn't a standard acceptance in the league as to relative draft value as there is in the NFL and that the very limited numbers on the court at any time are likely to prevent it occuring, in that even if it was accepted that pick 1 will produce the same production as pick 11 and 28 say the value of getting that production from one player rather than two makes the trade very uneven.

One very good player is a lot more valuable than 2 decent players even if their combined stats are the same.
