Paul Sturgess

Post#1 » by Fenix » Fri Jan 25, 2008 8:46 am

Due to the hard-ons everybody seem to have when it comes to abnormaly tall guys, I present you... Paul Sturgess! He's 7'7, 300 pounds and plays (or at leasts sits on the bench) for Florida Tech. You can see a documentary on him here: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=paul+sturgess&search=Search. The good thing is that at least he seems injury-free and mobile.

Tall Paul is from Loughborough in England. Loughborough is a small town of about 40,000 people, but it is also home to the UK's best sports university - Loughborough University - where I studied for my degree.

The thing I love about Sturgess is that he is obsessed with basketball, unlike a lot of other giants who just play basketball because they're tall and want to make some money. Sturgess has a passion for the game, and I think that will help him with his career.

His dream is to make it in the NBA, but I think more realistically he'll come back to England or some other European country where he'll earn a decent living playing basketball.

Paul also has a great sense of humour by the way. He seems like a nice guy.

Here's a picture of him dwarfing a London policeman outside 10 Downing Street:

Paul really isn't very good. He's a real nice guy though and does appear to have a true love for the game, something which is rare in these extremely tall freaks.

He certainly isn't an NBA prospect.
