Starting to play really well for the Wildcats and against some decent competition. Who does he remind you of in the NBA right now?

Brandon Bass with no jumper, better feel in the post.

David West, remember West had zero outside moves at Xavier, he developed a jumper in the league and look at him now. He isn't that size, but he has the same build. Patterson should come back, develop better jumper.

I see Patterson as more of an Antonio McDyess type of player. He has a similar build plus seems play a lot like the younger McDyess.

Younger McDyess was a hall of famer if he continued at the rate he was playing, Patterson can't hold a candle i think you meant an extremely poormans McDyess

I saw him in high school, he reminded me of Amare stoudemire, explosive going to the rim, and trying to dunk everything, not super huge, but strong and athletic.
