Can we please at least wait until the players declare or not for a big board in 09?

It's going to be interesting to see Brandon Jennings on the college level at Arizona. I think he's going to be a great NBA player, his shot selection is a little crazy at Oak Hill from what I have seen, but what do you expect, he is carrying that team on his own.

A little on the slender side, but his ball handling, playmaking ability and his complete offensive arsenal which allows him to score at will is going to be very attractive to a lot of NBA GM's.

I expect him to go higher than 12, but it's still early days I guess.

Westbrook will be higher than 32 overall come 2009 Draft.

People are not really enamoured with 6'3'' SG's these days. He needs to learn to be a PG if he wants to be a 1st round lock IMO.

1. I almost guarantee that Blake Griffin not a top-5 prospect for 2009.

2. JaVale McGee should be top 5; his ceiling appears sky-high at this point in time.

3. You underrate Lawson, Hickson, Ellington and Heytvelt IMO.

4. Russell Westbrook shouldn't even be in the 50s. I do not see why people are enamored with him at all.

5. Jrue Holiday, Victor Claver and Jeff Pendergraph should all be higher up.

6. You really underestimate Nick Calathes. That kid is a borderline lottery talent. I don't care if his athleticism isn't world-class; he's skilled, he plays three positions, and he's a leader. Needs to improve the jump shot, but still a good player in the future.

7. Costner and Mbah a Moute would be late 20s/early 30s on my unmade big board.

8. Jordan Hill too. Why is he so low? He's beastly down in the post, even though he's not THAT tall.

Tyler Hansbrough, will not be a 2nd round draft pick if he stays another year. He will be a Top 15 pick.

Completely forgot him. He would most certainly be on there. I'll add him to the next one.

Based on the fact that these guys, IMO, are all better:

Ricky Rubio
BJ Mullens
Demar DeRozan
Austin Daye
Kyle Singler
JaVale McGee
Kosta Koufos
Josh Heytvelt
Ty Lawson
J.J. Hickson
Jrue Holiday
maybe Victor Claver
maybe Al-Farouq Aminu
maybe Brandon Jennings

Plus, I'm not a huge fan of the Stromile Swift/Josh Smith PFs. Never have been, never will be.

Ricky Rubio will be the Knicks savior since we seemed to have blown any shot at Derrick Rose this year.

Did you just compare Blake Griffin to Stromile Swift? Blake Griffin is much more like the second coming of Carlos Boozer, just mean and rugged inside.

Josh Heytvelt?
Ty Lawson?
Koufos?
Singler?

Ya I dont see any of those guys being better then Griffin in the NBA and agree with Cammo the Stromile Swift comparison isnt a very good one.

Heytvelt over Griffin? Thats a joke

I think Singler is way too high, especially if you have him as a SF.
