Gordon or Bayless?

Post#1 » by Chi Dynasty12 » Mon Feb 11, 2008 4:18 am

I know Bayless is a more pure point guard, but Gordon's scoring ability is phenomenal. If your team needed guards who would you take?

I'd take Bayless cause he can play 2 positions right now...

Bayless is a PG, Gordon a SG. Not much of a comparison. It really just depends on the team and what they need.

As a Heat fan, if we can't draft Rose I'm hoping for a Bayless/Wade pairing.

For the Blazers, I would want Gordon.

Overall, for most teams, Bayless.

Seattle will take Bayless, if it can't get Rose. Seattle should be able to drop down a few picks, get bayless and additional compensation

Gordon looks like a SG to me. Bayless looks like a combo guard. I'd love to see Bayless on the Sixers with Lou Williams.

With teams moving up to take who?

I do agree with others that it'll be a team driven pick between the two. The only game I watch Gordon really close was the Indiana game where he was in a super hostile environment, made some bad decisions, and shot poorly. The one thing I thought he didn't get enough credit for was finding his teammates who missed some easy chances that he set up.

Overall, they're both guys that'll go 3-10 depending on need, but I'd rather have Bayless because he can play two positions from day one.

They are both going to be awesome.

Gordon is going to be a all around better version of Ben Gordon.
Bayless is going to be Barbosa with much more PG skills.

Jerryd Bayless b/c he has comparable scoring ability to Gordon, but better point guard skills and little more athletic.

Gordon, too much better than Wildcats' point-guard...
