who is the most underrated player in the country?

Post#1 » by sox839 » Wed Feb 13, 2008 8:38 am

I think there are at least two how about will daniels from URI 18.7 ppg 7 reb 49% fg 1.0 block, 31% three, 67% free throw 1.1 apg. jayce carroll from utah state a 6'2 guard averages 21.8 ppg 6.1 reb 52% fg 50% three 2.2 apg 92% free throw. Both ofthese guysplay on teams that should at least make either post season tournament. How about the entire xavier basketball team they are good and underrated.

I'm going with Jaycee
He is an amazing shooter
Just doesn't have the NBA size but if he can get open looks he will knock it down

Being from the state of Connecticut, I would say A.J. Price. The way he directs that team and leads them is just beyond belief. He should be team captain- not Jeff Adrien.

I would say Thabeet, but he's now gotten a more of a somewhat superstar profile than last year.

the reason AJ isnt the team captain is probably because of the stolen laptop scandel 2 years ago, but he is underrated and a very good PG

David Padgett of Louisville.

He has a similar effect as Krabbenhoft from Wisconsin where he gives you alot more then just stats. When Padgett is playing good this team is a legit final four contender. Make big plays down the stretch of games and makes his freethrows.

also Marreese Speights.

lots of people bring up players like Arthur, Griffin, Thabeet, Kevin Love but you dont hear much about Speights. Hes easily one of the better offensive PF's in the ncaa's right now. I wouldnt be mad if my team had a pick around #8-#10 and used it on him.

As far as underrated to the value of their team I'd say Ty Lawson is underrated. Everyone talks about Tyler, but Lawson makes that team run and the Duke game is evidence of that.

Also, being from Utah originally, I'd say Jaycee is very underrated.

I have to go with Richard Hendrix as well. Really looks like another version of Carlos Boozer to me.

OJ Mayo

every person in the media is bashing the crap out of him. I think that is worse than not being talked about at all.

Using Draftexpress's mock draft as a barometer, and in regards to pub they get about NBA potential (as opposed to college stardom pub) I would go with Tyler Hansbourough, Hasheem Thabeet, Bill Walker, Demarcus Nelson, and Grevious Vasquez.

Actually all three are on draftnet's mock, and only Hairston is on DX's.
