Umm, Michael Beasley? He seems ready to have a ROY type impact.

He has never been in any sort of trouble with the law.

He's a type of kid that will spend time at a charity event over hanging out with a bad crowd.

This negative rap he gets is so stupid. there is zero validity behind it

Hibbert, Gordon, Beasley off the top of my head.

Honestly, I think it is Tyler Hansbourough. If his game translates, I think it will translate quicker than the other guys.

He did get kicked out of Oak Hills Academy, so there is some validity to it.

I would have to agree with you. He can bring it on offense and defense and he's got a great work ethic.

I'm not so sure about Beasly. He has the offensive talent, thats for sure but I don't think he has the defensive skills and his size concerns me a little.

It's Love and Beasley.

His game won't translate, because he is undersized even by major college bigs. Hansbrough gets by on brute strength and hard work. He has no jump shoot and will not bull NBA bigs around like he does in college. Right now he is Sean May with better work ethic, but he will need a Horace Grant range jumper to even see the floor in the NBA.

Love is not even making a huge impact in college. All you guys picking freshman are living in a dream world. With the exception of Beasley, all the other freshman are works in progress. Guys like Love and Mayo will not be allowed the million shots they take in college, and they will find it a much tougher adjustment. Love would be smart to go back for his sophmore year.

In terms of game, yes, Brook's translates very well. I worry about his maturity, though.

I agree with you on Weaver. I immediately thought of his name when I read the title of this thread. He could very well be this year's Brandon Roy in that respect.

Agreed. I see a lot of simularities.

I'm going to say if Thabeet gets drafted by a team willing to get him minutes - a 7' 3" shotblocker who can run the floor with the best of them is going to have an impact in the NBA.

Like Saer Sene? Thabeet is way too raw to be an imediate impact guy. The NBA bigs are going to take him to school for a while before he becomes a stud.
