Demarcus Nelson

Nbadraft.net has him going in the mid-2nd round. I think he's a little bit better than that because of the Duke system. Where does everybody think he ranks and what team would he fit in with?

I'm not sure where he should go but I think he has a future in the NBA as an off the bench gunner/ball hawk. His athleticism markers look pretty good for a "6-4" SG (steals, rebounds, FTA).

The question is how effective of a shooter he can be. He has had a decent year in that respect this season. I think he has the ability to be a spark of the bench if he does at least grow into a threat from outside. I think he will show very well in the measurement camps and work himself to a high 2nd round pick.

Can he play the point guard position or is he just an undersized two guard?

He is a gunner 2. you would hope that he is a better defensive version and likely lesser offensive version of a Luther Head or a Daniel Gibson.

^ Thanks for the info not really a fan of having undersized 2 guards, was hoping that he can play the point with his athletic ability and rebounding for a guard.
