So far Courtney Lee from Western Kentucky, and Joe Alexander. I liked what I saw from Bayless and Budinger last night as well. There is a shooter for the Minnesota gophers playing in the NIT (forget his name) who hit some crazy shots the other night. He's only a freshman and someone to keep you eye on. Someone help me with the name. He won an ESPY in high school for a shot he made sitting down.

The Gopher is Blake Hoffarber and is a great college shooter (poor man's JJ Redick), but I don't think he'll ever have the athletic ability to play in the NBA. He really struggles to create his own shot right now.
The guy who's suprised me the past couple of weeks is Robin Lopez. Originally I thought it'd be a huge mistake for him to come out this year, but now I think he could go mid to late first round...and provide some size and energy for a team until he refines his offensive game. Could he be a Verejao type player?

Townes looked like a future lottery pick his freshman season, but regressed big time until this year. Listless, uninspired, soft, out of shape, lazy...he could accurately be described as all of them.
Of course, there are still those moments when he shows up that make you wonder...
I fully expect him to be a camp darling and hear his name called on draft night. He's got every tool in the book, and is proving once again what he can do when he decides to show up.

We only got a glimpse, but I thought Larry Cox of Mississippi Valley State had some potential. Really skinny frame but he should a couple of moves. Didn't really slow down Hansbrough, however; I could see him spending a couple quality years in the NBDL.

Speaking of Arkansas, what about Mr. Weems? Big, athletic, nice shot... BUT, I've only seen him twice this year, so perhaps that's why he looks good to me.
from ny, never been a fan of the knicks...

Everybody's talking about Alexander from WVU, but I think Ruoff is the better player. He does more than just score, and has a similar package of size/athleticism. Shoots it well, great passer, handles, very good defender, great team player. This is a guy you pick up in the 2nd round, although I believe he's only a junior right now.

Obviously I like Ruoff seeing as I put him on my list for this thread BUT he is no where near the prospect that Alexander is, let's not go overboard

Well I didn't say better prospect.
He is better than Alexander at everything except for creating shots.
add defensively versatility and finishing at the rim to that list.....while joe needs to add some strength to become even better at the rim, ruoff really struggles with this in traffic
