what's the opinion on Richard Roby?

for some reason I love this kid...i like his energy a lot, he seems very relentless on the defensive side, he shoots the ball so well, he's long, can rebound very well for his size and seems to have a lot of athletic ability...the only downfalls i have seen are his turnovers and he seems to lose focus from time to time...

I hadn't realized how great an improvement Roby made on his Field Goal percentage from last year to this one, very good for him. Clearly, he tried to concentrate on his strengths and not hoist up as many three pointers. I think he'd be a good gamble in the second round somewhere, especially based on the measurements for his reach.

I love him too. I am glad he stayed in college as I think his IQ will be much higher.

Also I watched him some and he is a far far far better athlete then I had heard. He doesn't hesitate to get up and dunk the ball.

I love him as a sleeper in the second round who could be a real steal, and not just a rotational guy but maybe someone who could really have a huge role in the NBA.

If he finds the right spot he could be a very good player.

He is very good. In fact, I could see him looked as highly upon as Brandon Rush if he wasnt stuck in Colorado. Seriously, that team is terrible. Take Roby off and they would loose to some CO High School teams.

He was stuck on a bad team, and therefore he was forced to take some really bad shots last season. This year, his huge FG% increase a real testament to his talent.

I think he should be a low 1st rounder. I think he should be a top 5 2nd round pick. He has 'steal' written all over him.

My bet is that he is not a top 10 SG prospect, so he goes somewhere from picks 40-55. I don't think he gets into the first, but I definitely think he gets to hear DC call his name.

i honestly think he will be one of those guys that gets overlooked, picked up in the 2nd by someone who has been watching him and then he becomes a quality contributor...the kid is a real handful...
