If you are 7 feet and have a pulse there is a good chance of you becoming a millionaire. I honestly wouldn't invest a high lotto pick on him given the little that I have seen from him and his rather mediocre numbers in his conference.

You know that teams like the Wiz, the Raps and the Suns are licking their lips at this news.

He should be on the board right around where they are picking and could all use a 7 foot shot blocker who can get up and down the court.

He needs to go to a team that runs.

The Wizards already have a 7-footer who can get up and down the court in Andray Blatche, who's locked into a dirt cheap 5 year, 15 million extension. The most pressing need for the Wiz is a young PG prospect. That is, unless Kevin Love is on the board, then he'd be taken in an instant.

He's the guy that Jamison speaks so highly of and had to be separated in the locker room from the rookies because they kept messing around.........right?

He's also the same guy who dominated Okefor this year. He's also the same guy who average near a double double when he started for Butler.

He's also the guy who solicited a prostitute

To be honest I don't think Mcgee will make it past the kings if Augustine has already been taken. He is exactly the type of player that we are looking to draft this year. Not to mention with Mcgee and Hawes as our bigs of the future the kings could be pretty dangerous in a couple years.

But if Augustine is still on the board when the kings pick you can be sure that the kings will take him instead.

Can't see how much he could be helped by returning to Nevada, he could go anywhere in this draft it seems like.

While I would like to look at it this way too, this is from our perspective. I have a suspicion that Petrie won't look at it like this, but we can always dream.

I know that the Kings have scouted a lot of his games(I think GP was at 1 or more of them actually) and also Jason Thompson.

True...but Geoff's history of the types of player he prefers still leads me to think that at the very least, I wouldn't be surprised if he passed on McGee.
