no he wont start at center he might get a few mins there due other players foul trouble or if they go with a small lineup! but hes not a pf/c hes just a pf.

Yes. If Al Horford can go double-double at C then he should have no problem.

Maybe, since he is coming back to school, maybe he can add that post defense to his game. But I would not call him a starting C.

Rumor is he will go back for one more year at Oklahoma, but nothing is official yet. If it makes you feel any better, the Nets are not in position to get Griffin this year either, as he is pretty likely a top 8 pick.

well we could always move up. it's only 2 spots so the price shouldnt be too steep

Blake Griffin is nothing like Horford. They may have similar heights and weights, but Horford is a lot stronger physically IMO.

He was iffy to come back and something about Capel and an extension wants him back. Plus, he and his brother are now starters, so maybe he can boost his brother's prospects ala the Lopez's. And gotta think Oklahoma, if healthy, could compete for the big 12 title with the defections off KU, Kansas State and Texas.

If I were Blake Griffin I might stay another year to become a potential top 3 pick or maybe #1 overall pick if they add the sophmore age limit

BTW, he's a very interesting prospect. Funny that he gets compared to Carlos Boozer when their games aren't that similar. I think it's honestly being made because they are both light skinned PFs.

Blake Griffin's game is more similar to Amare than it is to Boozer.

He's a lot longer and athletic than Boozer and doesn't even come close to having the same skillset.

Could be the different body shapes but Horford looks noticeably taller than Griffin and is probably also a tad bit more mobile.

Doesn't matter he's going back to Oklahoma anyway.

Could he play C effectively every game and defend the 6-11' 7-0' guys without giving anything up? No.
Could you stick him out there with another decent-sized PF and not lose every game because of it? Sure.

I agree Bbib, Boozer and Griffin have to be getting compared solely b/c/o their skin-color. Boozer is one of the smartest, most deliberate PFs I've seen play, while Griffin...well, he's not that.

Funny thing is how underrated this guy is as far as athleticism.

For a guy who is 255 pounds he's an upper echelon athlete.

I laugh at the fact that this is ignored/goes unnoticed because he's a little pale.
