Why does Milwaukee take a PF? They have Yi, Bogut and CV on the roster already and Love is not a game changer.

Why does New Jersey take Danillo? They want to bring back Nachbar and as of now, Jefferson is still there.

And I think most King fans would burn down Arco if DeAndre Jordan was their pick. Just a thought.

A lot of kings fans would love DeAndre Jordan IMO. We really haven't had anyone athletic and tall on the roster since CWebb blew his knee up. We haven't had a shotblocker since then. If he could become close to what Tyson Chandler is now and we got him I think we'd wind up jizzing ourselves. He's the perfect compliment to Hawes IMO, rebounding+defending PF that will block some shots. Our GM also said at a season ticket holder event we'll get a big man coach or something like that.

I don't think it's fair to bash Jordan. The guy is physically gifted and everyone expected him to just come in and dominate like a Dwight Howard. Okay, he's not Dwight. Still doesn't mean he can't become good. The guy had no big man coach at A&M, nobody obviously taught him anything in high school, but if a big man coach can help him out he still has the potential to be a very good player. Besides, we don't need a major scorer with Martin and Hawes for the future. Martin is 6th in the NBA in scoring right now or something like that, Hawes is going to be a good offensive player because he already has hella post moves and a nice J. We need a rebounder and shotblocker. Jordan hasn't recieved any coahing and A&M was more committed to trying to win this year than developing a young big man who probably was leaving for the NBA anyway.

For the record, I am not against the pick of Jordan. In fact I want to see him go to the Bulls. But my point is many Kings fans have voiced displeasure over him. I like him. He is raw yes, but don't ask the kid to be good right away (or even play for that matter) and you might have something.

As a Philly fan I hate the pick. Would much rather have Budinger, Batum, Westbrook, Speights, Hibbert, Collison, Courtney Lee (who I think is a first rounder), or either Randolph.
Not to say the Sixers wouldn't take Ibaka but I think as an organization Philly is a team that tends to pick players that can contribute right away not projects like Ibaka.
Looking at their rookies as far back as Iverson they have all contributed in some way shape or form their first season. I would expect that trend to continue.
