You explain me why NJ takes 3 6'10 + F/C while they already have 3-4 under contract ( pending on Krstic resigning but very likely ) . What exactly is the reasoning ?

McGee is the BPA and a 7 foot center. Alexander is a SF, who would be very helpful if NJ looks to move Jefferson. Pekovic is a draft and stash who has first round talent, if a team is willing to wait a few years. He is very good in a very good Euro league. All 3 of these guys fill a different role and all are terrific value where they ended up.

The Nets need a backup SG some shooter , Maurice Ager is not a rotation player in this league .

And the Nets don't draft BPA if the BPA is not significantly better then what the need it , never have .

I will bet serious amounts of money that Portland does not take Augustin over Westbrook if they're both still available.

Time will tell. We still have a long way to go before the draft. I will bet you if you are right, Portland is making a big mistake.

I think that is my ideal Sonics Draft if Rose goes #1

Beasley, Thabeet, Weaver, Foster. Love it.

Id be happy with this draft from a Portland perspective, Augustin would complete our roster. If he falls to 13 I think thats a steal and great value. The only bad thing is his size, but besides that hes a player. Overall, nice mock again Cammo

Thanks for the kind words. Auggy and Roy would mess perfect, add in Oden and Aldridge and that is mighty scary.

Finally? He has had Memphis taking him in every mock draft which makes no sense.

Sorry, I guess I should have said I'm glad t see a mock where Minny isn't taking Lopez at 3. I haven't really checked out his earlier mocks, just other ones around the web.

I don't understand the McGee love (not directing this at you Cammo, just in general). When he gets exploited for not being able to guard the chair in his workouts, I think his stock will go way down.

Thabeet

Not to rain on you parade but I would be shocked to see Thabeet
that low. I believe he is still a lotto pick.

Why would the Cavaliers pass on Thabeet with their aging frontcourt for Budinger?

That is a concern. There is always the chance he goes the Patrick O'Bryant route.

Because Budinger is better and they have zero scorers around LeBron. Their frontcourt is aging, but it is deep, and can wait another year without an upgrade. Their backcourt can't.

Just wondering, do you not like Westbrook for Portland, or do you think he'll be a bust (not worth the pick)?

Budinger cant create his own shot, doesnt play to his athleticism and fades iout of games. The Cavaliers have that guy and his name is Pavlovic.

Ilguaskas will be 33 in June and has a chronic disc problem that will need to be managed for the rest of his career, Wallace will be 34 in September and Joe Smith will be 33 in July. Speaking of Ben Wallace have you seen him lately? He is about done. Anderson Varejao will opt out of his contract next year. Chase Budinger isnt nearly the prospect to stop the Cavaliers from addressing the frontcourt.

Besides James the Cavaliers strength is the frontcourt. If that falls off the table the team falls off the table regardless of what James does and Chase Budinger isnt going to change that.

I think Westbrook is overrated and could easily be a bust. He plays big time out of control and is about half as good as he thinks he is. The guy is athletic and a solid defender, so he could put it together, but I would really like to see him spend another year at UCLA.
