This draft appears to be pretty deep because of the amount of freshmen declaring, some solid seniors and a couple international prospects.

How deep is this draft do you think?

Do you think a team in the 15-18 range has a good chance of landing themselves a prospect that will become an NBA starter?

Because many GMs go for high risk/high reward players it seems likely that the next 5 picks out of the lottery might become NBA starters. This doesn't happen every year.

I'd say close to 20.

I think this draft has a good chance of having 60 players hear their name called.

I think the whole first round with exception of a few busts between 20-30, but there will be some steals in the early second round to make up for that.

I say there are about 10 guys who will be consitstant starters by the end of year 2. I see of lot of bench scorer types to be honest.

NBA starters? Probably about the usual average of 10-15 per draft.

I don't see this draft as being particularly deeper than the average year. It's deeper than, say, 2006, but nothing special.

I think this draft suffers from a lack of clear lottery picks. After about 4 or 5 players, you have another 15-20 who could be very good players but have some serious flaw that they need to overcome (be it inexperience, lack of athleticism, lack of drive, inconsistency, etc.).

Despite Beasley and Rose, there's also no surefire stars. A player like Beasley might seem like a sure thing, but there's plenty of concerns about his effort and defense.

I think it'll be a fairly normal draft in the end, with 10-15 or so starters, maybe 3 or 4 All-Stars. Don't think there are any franchise talents. They only seem to come around every 3 or 4 years, and this doesn't look like one of them.

The only thing unique about this draft is the abundance of centers that will be taken in the first round. While I think most of them will be backups, it's a good year for a team to pick up a big man.
