What are Realistic Deals for Rose/Beasley (#1/#2 pick)

Lets say the the top 2 teams that are picking are Miami and Seattle

I was wondering what each team would be willing to give each team for each pick.. I am pretty sure that each pick's value is fairly similar.. Rose is supposed to be the 6'4 Elite Point Guard and Beasley is supposed to be the 20/10 Forward..
I am under the impression that Miami would like to retool a soon as possible and thus would like to get the best talent in Miami Next year. Seattle is still rebuilding but would be willing to make a deal if they didnt get Rose (if Beasley was available)..

ATL- Josh Smith for Rose (to Miami) ATL gets a point guard and they go Rose/JJ/Williams/Horford/Center in FA (Huge team)

Bos- Not in the position right now to make a trade like that
CHA- Okafor/1st rounder for Haslem/filler And Beasley
Bulls- Tyrus or Noah to Seattle plus their 1st for Rose
Cavs- Dont have the trade assets to do a trade
Mavericks- Dirk to Miami for Haslem/Filler and Rose/Beasley
Nuggetts- Melo to Miami for Rose/Beasley Fits the Celtics model of getting three good players.. plus gives the Nuggets a chance to rebuild
Detroit- Doesn't really make much sense to deal
GSW- Davis to Miami for Haslem/Filler plus the pick (Draft Rose)
Houston- Tmac to Miami for Haslem/Filler plus the Pick (Draft Rose or Beasley)
Indiana- Granger plus their pick to Miami for Davis/Rose
La Clippers- Brand to Miami plus their pick (S/T) for Rose/Haslem/Filler
Lakers- doesnt make much sense to do it
Memphis- they have a top 3-5 pick.. they would have to send either a future first or maybe give Crittenton to Seattle/Miami..
Bucks- Redd/1st rounder to Miami for Haslem/Filler/ + Rose/Beasley
Timberwolves- They'll just draft Mayo if they dont get Rose
New Jersey- Harris/1st to Miami or Seattle for Rose/Beasley +filler
New Orleans- No Point right now
New York Knicks- David Lee/Renaldo Balkman + their pick for Rose + Filler
Orlando- not enough trading assets outside d12
Philadelphia- Iggy to Seattle for the pick plus Haslem or Wilcox (Philly Drafts Rose/Beasley
PHX- Doesn't Make much sense.. but if they were to do that, maybe Nash to Miami for Haslem and Rose
Por- Aldridge/13 for Haslem/Rose
SAC- Doesn't really have the trade assets Maybe Martin/Pick to Miami for Filler/Pick but that likely doesnt get it done
SAS- They likely wont make this deal
Toronto- Calderon/Bargnani/Kapono to Miami for Haslem/Rose (then trade Ford for Maggette)
WAS- Gilbert + Pick for Rose

Let me know what you think of the viability of these deals.. Riley has publicly stated that he would be willing to deal the top pick if he acquires it.. with that being said, what do you think of these deals, and please mention your own.

ATL - Not even close, IMO.
CHA - Not really. Haslem is somewhat valuable, and Beasley > Okafor + 1st.
CHI - Not even close.
DAL - Maybe, but only if the Heat want to win now. I'd rather build with Rose/Beasley and keep Haslem if I were Miami.
GSW - Not even close.
HOU - Not even close.
IND - Not even close.
LAC - Maybe. This is the closest one.
MEM - I hope you're including the top 3-5 pick this year. Even with a future first and Crittendon, it's not close. There's a huge difference between #2 and #3, and the future first won't be great. Crittendon might become a starter, but that's peanuts when you're talking a franchise player.
MIL - Not even close. Redd will be sold for pennies on the dollar.
NJN - I doubt Miami bites.
NYK - Not even close. Lee and Balkman are nice roleplayers, but we're talking franchise players here.
PHI - Not even close. And I'm an Iggy fan.
POR - I don't think Portland does it because they're so high on Aldridge, but if I were Miami, I'd refuse it as well. The Haslem/Rose side is definitely better value.
SAC - Martin/Pick to Miami is better than some of what you've been offering, but that's not enough.
TOR - Not enough.
WAS - Only if a team wanted to win now. I'd keep Rose though.

I'm not that high on Derrick Rose or Michael Beasley, but players who are perceived to be franchise/HOF type talents are not traded lightly.

Top 5 Trades involving the #1 Pick IMO (In no order) if Miami has #1

1. After the draft, a S&T Brand for Haslem, Blount, Rose/Beasley, 2009#1 swap
2. Melo, Denver Pick for Marion, Miami Pick
3. Andrew Bynum for Pick (not gonna happen, but just saying)
4. Mike Miller, #3 for Blount, #1
5. Chris Bosh for Marion, Pick

I can't see Miami going for #2, #4, or #5.

Do you think Bosh is more valuable than Melo? You have Denver giving up their pick plus Melo for the same package that Bosh alone is getting. I don't think Miami goes for either though, partly because Melo would not solve their lack of three-point shooting.

I never said these deals were something Miami would do, but lets say they were completely against adding the pick, these could be done. And yes, Bosh is more valuable than Melo. Bosh is a low post scorer, Melo an outside shooter on a high octane offense and Bosh v Melo in terms of defense is like a penis contest between a man and a woman: one completely lacks it so the other wins by just having anything.

Unlike last year I think there is a chance that either pick could be traded for the right offer.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Denver try to make a huge move with either Melo or AI to get in on Rose.

I don't like Melo too much--or at least his game, as I respect his charitability--because as used right now, he doesn't do much besides score. However, he's much more talented than Bosh, who I understand is a great scorer in his own right. Indeed, he draws a lot of fouls with his face-up game, but he doesn't get you what you want from a big man: namely, a reliable post-up game and solid interior defense. Thus, the big over small argument doesn't really hold here.

Not many seattle deals in there, but with seattle trying to go all-youth, none of those deals work.

To trade out, the Heat rquire an All-Star player, another solid starter and another quality player (perhaps a shooter) =ing likely a Center/Big Man and a PG, plus another player. The Heat will also dump Blount's contract on the team taking rose/Beasley.

Now come up with your options.

Kapono for haslem is basically a wash, so its Calderon/Bargs/#17 for Rose

Not enough.....FOR TORONTO! Calderon is a legend in Canada right up there with the likes of that comedian that we all love and that famous Mountie. The Toronto Josecalderons are not going to trade him until they invent something higher than a #1 draft pick.

Miami doesn't want a 1-dimensional Kapono especially at his contract number. If we wanted him, we could have kept him. We are certainly not going to trade for him now and if you think he is a wash with Haslem, you are misled.

I think it's just kind of too soon to even be talking about it considering that Miami only has a 25% chance of getting the #1 pick anyway.

I can't see anyone trading Rose for a great PG, a Euro bust, a role player, and a late pick, let alone include an energy guy like Haslem. Sure, Rose isn't proven, but I'll take my chances with a potential franchise player, because trading for a solid starter and several rotation pieces isn't how you build a team.
