I'm telling you, if DeVon Hardin is on the board, we're taking him.

I just don't see Chicago taking Love. They have two PF already in Gooden and Thomas and he definitely is not best player available, would not replace any possible PF free agents, would be another solid but unspectacular player. I am sorry, I think it's either a trade OR a project.
But the rest of the draft I really don't have any qualms.

Lopez and Gallinari are not falling this far. Detroit would be nuts to reach on Hardin that early.

I considered taking Jordan there as he does have the potential and would be the project player, but chicago lacks a scoring big so thus I could see them finding that in Love who will be a good, but not great player.

If Joe Alexander goes before Roy Hibbert I'll be gobsmacked.

Detroit just values Hardin more than you do. He's a solid late first/early second pick and since Detroit only basically gets the late first... they wouldn't pass him up for an unproven Euro who wouldn't be able to contribute right away.
Dumars is basically staying away from euro bigs and sticking to 3-4 yr college players (besides Amir Johnson with the 56th pick in the 2005 NBA draft).
