True, although a true C is also a position of concern.

Wolves take Mayo, according to our consensus mock on the board.

Jason Thompson for the Grizz is going to be a steal.

Interesting.

You guys like a back up PG (Jamont Gordon, Mario Chalmers, Kyle Weaver or Ty Lawson) over a backup defensive center (R Lopez, D Harden)?

I thought R Price was good for the 5 minutes/game available behind D Williams. And he's signed already for next year.

Would OJ Mayo be the PG or the SG? Where do you guys see R Foye playing in the future, PG or SG?

I don't think the Blazers are interested in Greene since we have been developing Outlaw to play the same role he would play. Greene would never have the chance develop his game in Portland. Give us a combo guard who has decent size and can defend.

I'd hate Deandre Jordan whatever we do with our Pick please Rod/Kiki don't get fooled by his so callend "potential" .

And why the hell do we pick ANOTHER big with the 2nd pick when we still don't have a backup for Vince and our froncourt is completely loaded.

Warriors don't need a SG/SF. We'd take an athletic PF/C like Speights, Arthur or even Ibaka over Batum.

I thought the plan is to convince Rudy Fernandez to come to Portland?

Yes, this is what I've consistently understood from Warrior fans. But when I look into it, from a distant perspective, I see...
PG - B Davis, M Ellis
SG - M Ellis, M Belinelli
SF - S Jackson
PF - A Harrington, B Wright
C - A Biedrins

I think B Wright is an amazing talent. Didn't play much this season, but I see him becoming like C Bosh in the future. That's why I thought a super talented & athletic SF like Batum makes sense.

But like I said, I realize that Warrior fans consistently say they need a PF/C. What am I missing?

I think D Jordon is a pile as well. But seeing as how I'm a Sonics fan it's not hard to understand why I think drafting bigs for their potential is dumb. But you know some GM is going to pick him. Here's to hoping it won't be your GM.

I went with best player available. I think Marreese Speights is going to be a good one. And, like I mentioned earlier, best case I think D Jordon will take a while before he'll be able to contribute. But ya, looking at it now you're obviously right. Especially with guys like Brandon Rush & Joe Alexander still available. At least according to my mock.

Exactly. Sounds like our K Durant, J Green, SG/SF/PF situation.

I also think I agree with you on the OJ Mayo call. At least today. I have to admit I've changed my mind on that one a few times.

Question... is there any belief in Minnesota that pairing A Jefferson with B Lopez is the right way forward? Maybe the better question would be what is the preferred draft picks, in order, for the Wolves?

Lopez and Jefferson would look very good together. But Mayo is a special talent and we would go for that rather than need anytime. But if we get hosed on the lotto and end up with Lopez I am cool with that.

We did a mock on this a while ago on the forum, but from my understanding the order is

Rose
Beasley
Mayo
Lopez
Gallinari
Randolph

I truly think the wolves do not want Beasley unless he projects as a 3. I would almost be willing to say we want Rose-Mayo-Lopez.

Foye can play both the point and the 2. He is a good scorer and playmaker. Having a 6'5 guy with a similar skill set will be good for the team. I could see Foye mixing well with ROse or Mayo.
