I saw today that plaisted is in the draft. He has hired an agent and he must a promise. I would love to the see the celts draft him with the #30 pick if a couple of guys like dorsey aren't available. He reminds of zaza pachulia but its is a must that he become a better free throw shooter.

Saw him live a couple times
He is very intriguing with his size, length, and athleticism to play both front court positions....and possesses a frame that should fill out nicely
Flashed impressive ball skills, more so in the passing department.....excellent passer out of the post (has great presence of the rest of the court even with back to the basket, great "eyes" in the post). Disappointing in the area of basket protection. Powerful rebounder, this is probably the source of any promise that he may or may not currently have. Good open floor runner. Flawed release point and mechanics in everything (his bread and butter hook is low and out in front, poor separation....and his free throw form is poor).....as a result, hard to project him ever averaging much more than 10 ppg at his peak (that being the best case scenario). Very competitive and fiery. Known to disappear at times, maybe mental lapses. To me is an early-mid 2nd rd'er who could be a nice spark plug off the bench.....if nothing else, should end up being a nice defender and rebounder

Oh he'll get drafted, I can't see him going first round, but a big guy with his skill set, someone will take a flyer on him in the early-mid second round, easily. I wish he'd stay one more year, but I can understand him going too.

He sucks, and always will suck, and will suck in the NBA.

Really suprised at how underrated Plaisted is. He is only 21 years old, is easily coached, a hard worker, highly athletic, solid defender, plays mostly in the post, great bball IQ and good passer. I guess people dont know how athletic and fast that Plaisted really is . I mean this guy has around a 40 inch max vertical and runs a 40 yard dash in 4.6 seconds. He is a very intriguing prospect and I think that after Orlando predraft camp and indvididual team workouts his stock will rise.

DX did a nice writeup on Plaisted recently. If anyone is interested they can visit the website. I do thinik that Plaisted will rise after measurements and performances at predraft camps. IMO he is a late first/early second
