Which Prospects Stock Will Rise the Most?

Post#1 » by loflin3hree5ive » Wed May 21, 2008 6:12 pm

Before draft day, what players value is will skyrocket into possibly a top ten pick if not higher?

I think Eric Gordon could find himself top 5 if he has some good workouts. Some mocks don't even have him in the top 10. I think his stock will make this biggest jump between now and draft day.

Kevin Love, DJ Augustin and Joe Alexander are 3 that I see moving higher than expected and then making an impact as rooks.
I despise fans that cheer on a team from up north or one that resembles a dinosaur. oh wait...

No Question it's Joe Alexander.....he is tailor made to impress in workouts and his intangibles are second to none

Yeah I see DJ Augustin moving up too. He'll impress a lot of people with his workouts and could move into the top 10. Maybe as high as the 8th pick to Milwaukee

Id say KLove too only because I think people will see after workouts that he isnt as un athletic as people believe.

Kevin Love, Darrell Arthur, Dj White, Kyle Weaver.. I disagree on the Eric Gordon. I watched every one of his home games in college live (pre injury and after) and he still has a lot of work to do, especially when it comes to decision making, ability to split screens and drive, dribbling and shot selection.

I'm not used to being on the cutting edge of this. I've been answering this question with Joe Alexander since February.

watch out for Nathan Jawaii

he was originally tipped to be late 2nd round, is now moving up to early 2nd round, after workouts, he could well be in the 12- 20 range 1st round

latest comparison was Elton Brand, by chad ford

I think a guy thats projected in the second round who after workouts and such will jump into the end of round one is DJ White.

I think Kevin Love could surprise a lot of people with all the conditioning training he has been doing. That has been his biggest knock, that he is fat and out of shape, but reports have been that he has been working hard on this. If the reports are true, look out.

Marreese Speights. I think he'd be better off going back to UF for a season, but he's the type of player who will dominate workouts.

Is being "this years Patrick O'Bryant" a good thing?

...Check out how the guy skyrocketed on the boards (and was an obvious reach at the time) + his NBA career and what his coach has said about him.

DJ Augustin...

...the Knicks are at #6 and the Clips are at #7 and both could use a pg.

I don't think Augustin will do well in the league... but oh well...

Darrel Arthur. He'll show everyone just how athletic he really is and that he has a ton of skills.
