Types of players GMs should stop drafting with lotto picks.

Having watched the draft for over a decade as a Denver Nuggets fan there are a few types of players that I absolutely hate watching get drafted early.

1. Unathletic Big Men - Just because a 7 footer can shoot 3s does not mean he is going to be the next Dirk. Yes i'm talking to you Nickoloz Tskitishvili

2. Unproven Foreigners - You want to take a risk on an unknown foreigner do it in the second round. I hate watching people like Darko get picked early.

3. The Streaky Guard - Every year there is some guard who gets hot in the NCAA tournament and improves his draft value by about 15 positions. A player having a string of 3 or 4 good games doesn't mean a thing if he didn't do anything during the previous 30 regular season games.

What types of players do you hate watching your GM wastes picks on?

Nickoloz Tskitishvili is more of 2 then 1 .

Unathletic players who can do nothing else but shoot. Players like Adam Morrison.

My big fear is unathletic big men. Im sorry but if you can't run up court you can't ball in the NBA.

Now im a pistons fan so you would think i would hate the drafting of Europeans(Yes you darko), but i think teams need to do it if they want to find the next manu or dirk.

Here's something i'd like to know who's someone you think is going to be drafted to early this year and whos one player that your team might pick that your cringing about.

The player i think is going to go too high is Kevin Love. I thought he was where he should be when he was projected as a late first rounder, but now there's talk of a mid lotto pick, i just dont see it.

Im really hoping my pistons dont pick Ty lawson, they really dont need another PG and i hope the Raps dont pick Hibbert, he's just too slow.

I don't know i wouldn't mind a absolutely light outs shooter with a pick 8-15 .

Well yeah, but it is more of the fact that their athleticism is not one of their best characteristics as a player.. Whereas, it will be difficult for them to adjust to the style of the NBA.

Morrison is the most lights out .376/.337/.710 shooter ever.

Has nothing to do with Morrison but shooters in general.

I think big guys are given too much crap for being busts. Big-Z and Samual Dalembert are worthy lotto picks, and those big guys are hard to find. I think athletic swing men who can't shoot should drop lower, especially if defense is an issue too.

Combo guards who really should be 2's but are about 3 or 4 inches too short and they fail as an experimental 1. Only a select few of these combo guards actually work out. Only Iverson, Wade, Ellis come to mind.

Some have been mentioned but those ones bear repeating anyway.

-Guys who have PG size and SG skills.
-Guys who have SF size and PF skills.
-Players with skills that aren't of much use to them. (e.g.: a centre who can shoot threes but not rebound... yes, I'm a Raptors fan)
-Guys who haven't improved from their first year of college to their last.
-Plodders who aren't great defenders.
-Players who are billed on very little except for their athleticism.
-Players who aren't coachable.
