Combine Results?

When do they release the 2008 Draft Athletic combine results? Those are always interesting to me.

I believe they were done Friday, so I'd expect them out sometime tomorrow (Monday).

I'm actually pretty surprised nothing has been leaked. In the past we have often heard about some interesting individual measurements the day of, well before the full list was released.

Not a peep this year, not even who the top athlete was. Only thing was Beasley talking about his height during an interview, but we don't even know if that was in shoes or not.

From here.

We received word that Donte Greene was able to lift 185 just once, which considering his lack of upperbody bulk is not surprising. How much this will hurt Greene is probably minimal as Greene is considered a long term potential pick anyway.

Kevin Love was said to measure 6-8 1/4 (without shoes), which considering his lack of great athleticism is not a great result.

More concern with Loves standing reach and his ability to palm the ball. If he has anything below 9 foot standing reach and small hands then I dont see this guy doing anything special in the NBA. Dudes with short arms and small hands often always fail in the NBA, their physical disadvantages is just too much to overcome in the proffesional level.

Hell, 6'8.25" w/o shoes is better than I thought he'd measure. That's 6'9.5" by NBA heights, plenty big for the post.

Reggie Evans has already submitted that study for peer review.

OMG I cracked up with the Grimlock reference!

And the oldschool Atlanta Hawks were the best! The Human Highlight Film FTW!

We'll get John Amaechi to study both college and NBA balls to make sure they're all the same size.

Either no one caught it or are trying to ignore it since its a tad in-sensitive...but I appreciate the humor my friend.

If he is at least 6'9 in shoes, the dude is going to be fine. He just needs to be paired with a defensive post player....bobcats anyone?

There is some good comedy in tis thread, but Grimlock was really the one that got me rolling.
