As a Nets fan, I'm going to be interested in these for the next couple of years. Any chance I could get your opinion on DeRozan and Harden? (Just a strength/weakness ceiling/floor type thing)

Brandon Jennings should be much higher than 11th. He's definitely a better prospect than Chase Budinger for example, and indeed better than most of the players above him on this list.

I also think that Greg Mondroe and Tyreke Evans are ranked too low.

The love affair with Austin Daye baffles me. NBAdraft.net had him ranked 1st in their 2009 draft at one point in time. 15th is more fair, but still too high in my opinion.

Victor Claver is surely too low.

Everyone sleeps on Tyler Hansbrough. It sucks seeing him so low, but you're certainly not the only one who ranks him in the 30s. It seems crazy to me though.

Jennings is way too low. Who's going to choose Budinger over Jennings? I think he's top 3. At least he should be IMO.

i know its just personal opinion but i think Mullens shld be ahead of Derozan. I do think their the top 2 freshmen pro prospects but i like Mullens size which is either 7'1 or 7'0 260-270 already.


I also love Ogilvys game in college but im not sure at this moment that it translates THAT well 2 the pros


^^^ i dont think Jennings is top 3, but he shld be top 5 if Rubios not in the class as he'd be the top PG in the class

I'll echo that Jennings is too low. Holiday also seems low to me.

Thanks to Cammo for that early look ahead. This looks to be a pretty good group, i think you have a couple of premier PG's at the top and some good talent at other postions. I noticed Rubio's Euro contract is pretty small, all things considered, so i dont think him coming over is a problem. As for other individuals i'm high on; Rubio, Evans, Jennings and Mullens and not so high on Thabeet, Monroe, Ogilvy and Clark. It's early.

Harden is a guy with a really advanced skill set. He does everything well and really has a great feel for the game. Think Ginolbi or Brandon Roy.

Derozen is much more of an anatural athlete/scorer. He reminds me a lot of Vince Carter (a guy I saw a few times in high school in Florida) at this point.

Both guys have a chance to be all star caliber NBA players, especially with consistent jump shots.

Right now I've got Rubio-Holiday-Aminu 1-2-3 on my big board.

If Joe Alexander was able to rise all the way to #8, I think Damion James should end up going in the lottery. He already has a much better outside shot than Alexander (41% from three), and he is a vastly better rebounder than Alexander. He just needs to improve his ball handling and free throw shooting during the season, and when the time for workouts comes he will rocket up the charts.
He does a great Shawn Marion impression and ought to be in contention for 1st team AA.

Maybe it's just because I'm a Texas fan, but I don't get the hype behind Blake Griffin. No doubt the guy is a tough player, but he's no Michael Beasley. I don't think he'll measure anywhere close to 6'10, and I really see Boozer as being the absolute best case scenario for him.

are you expecting Jennings to play in Europe and disappoint? or not factoring that in at all?

should be interesting to see this freshman class. If they live up to the hype it might end up being even better than these last two classes..

Beasely didnt measure anywhere near 6-10 either. Griffin i think is a tougher player, might have his head on straighter. Not quite as talented though as Beasely.

My prediction: Greg Monroe indeed, will be the 1st pick in whatever draft he enters.
