Micah Downs questions

I have been reading about this guy is he a guy who will be in the nba? The experts say he plays great defense but offense is nil? An interesting player is he worth a late round pick, opinions on this guy?

He can make it as an energy/defense guy with a fairly reliable spot-up jumpshot. I wouldn't want him doing any sort of ballhandling. Work ethic may be a question, considering how hyped he was coming out of HS. If Yakhouba Diawara and Quinton Ross and Ime Udoka can be NBA players, there's no reason Downs can't as well.

That said, I don't know if he's worth a draft pick. As that list shows, players like Downs aren't exactly hard to come by, and Downs doesn't have the potential upside down the road that stashing a young Euro does.

Will have stretches where he's real good, offense can be explosive at times and has a pretty nice feel for the game, looks like a second round pick to me.
