With 34 wins in 2024-2025, including the final one of a difficult season, Pop's official regular season wins total stands at an astounding 1422.
We had Pop leading us as Coach for the first five games this season, winning two, which, even if you don't count the rest puts the total at 1390, itself a huge feat. But of course all the wins count towards the Head Coach.
It may not matter much if anything to Pop but I'm glad and glad for him that we won his final game on the sidelines, a 106-88 walloping of Utah. Fitting, that, even as he has said,
To borrow from the first comment of the tweet, Pop coached in and about basketball, and also now continues to coach in and about life. For all of it, an ongoing thank you Pop
