One thing that comes to mind is our own dealings to try and get Kidd when Parker was still trying to establish himself. Remember what happened there, Parker took it as a kick in the ass and proved everyone wrong. I'd assume Harris may do the same thing, he has alot of similarities to Parker and i'm sure he's taken this whole thing as a slap in the face.

Does Cuban know that he needs to run the trade thru our trade checker...
Anyways it was sheer stupidity what Stackhouse said... "Yeah... let me get 30 days off and then I will be back with the Mavs." Yeah... there is an understanding but you don't open your mouth and tell the AP about it. The Mavs are lucky that the NBA didn't take away picks due to him.

Haven't the nets tried the whole Van Horn thing before lol.
Well this seems to be a very strange move. I don't see how this makes them a better team.
Sure Kidd is one of the best PG's of the generation. But i don't see how he can guard some of the elite players in the west.
Nash, Parker, Paul, Williams. While being a little unpredictable, Harris gave them energy, a fiesty defender and really trouble Parker.
Kidd won't be able to come near parker.
They have emptied their bench and the given away their best option in guarding, TD, Gasol and STAT.
Sure they now have Kidd back and an upgrade at the point but this gamble would want to pay off this year, otherwise this deal is a dud.

TD is the MAN wrote:Quick question... as of today the Mavs were 35/18 with a .660 before the Harris/Kidd trade.... lets forget that they were 5/5 without him. Do they win at a better rate with Kidd in the lineup for the rest of the year.
Over or under their current .660 winning percentage.
Regular season: I can see them improving on the .660 win %
Playoffs: 1st or 2nd round elimination due to Kidd's deficiencies on D and lack of big man presence.
