Brent Barry Is Officially A Spur Again

Brent Barry signed a new contract with the Spurs on Sunday evening, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
He was traded by the Spurs to the Sonics on Feb. 20, and then was promptly released by Seattle.
"I'm very happy and excited to be back with the Spurs," Barry said. "There's definitely some peace of mind that there's some finality to this."
In order to re-join the Spurs, Barry had to wait out the 30-day period.
"My focus now is getting back in basketball shape and trying to contribute to what this team is trying to do," he added. [READ]

That statement doesn't have any credibility because you're not going on anything in relation to Barry with the Suns.
Anyhow, in general, Giricek isn't the shooter (Barry a level up) or play-maker (Giricek not really at all) or established player that Barry is.
Generally, the career and recent-time comparision between the two goes to Barry.

There won't have to be any NBA front office disciplinary involvement or the possibility of it, with improved mental control from Phoenix. Both Horry and the Suns were at fault. Then, and in the future.
None of the Spurs bench got involved in that G4 schmozz.
The Suns really should learn from their past.
