Wow @ Kobe. I know a lot of people don't like to compare him to MJ, but c'mon.... what must he do?

After watching our 7 games vs. the Hornets and Kobe in the last 3 games (especially G1 and Tonight), I have no hesitation in saying that Kobe deserved the MVP over CP3.

Edit: I still wouldn't trade Duncan for either.

Excellent game tonight!

Tim Duncan was just fantastic, big-time game

Manu, like expected, came out confident and got going really well - moreso than anybody thought, too

Tony was Tony, good game, just the kind of game that was required

Bruce played great

Barry, Finley, Horry, Oberto all were quite key in their contributions in various ways - Barry playing more, and with that, favoring to be a factor, will be great. Vaughn can be played consistently in the reg. season, but in the playoffs he's more of a situational guy (last year was a good example).

I'm basically expecting a win for Game 4

WOW great game by manu, basically canceled out kobe by matching his point production.
Timmy started slow scoring wise but rebounded well and came up with a 20/20
Barry needs to play more of Finley's minutes he's shown to be effective so far this series.
Just do exactly the same thing for game 4 and we have a series again, still in a must win situation. Nice confidence booster for us though. Looking forward to G4!

I really felt Barry was a massive difference maker tonight. He still has the agility and speed to be a quality playmaker, and I still felt like his shot was off. He has to keep playing as the backup point until the Lakers points can punish a whole lot.
Horry and Oberto seem more than capable of matching up against Odom at this point. The speed of both seem to be underrated.
Parker seemed to struggle finishing at times, but this didnt hurt the team too much.
Manu was on fire from the outside, but I'm still worried about his injuries. Hopefully this game will bring his confidence back.

Great boost from Brent, and Manu finally appeared in the series. I've got confidence now going into game 4, though it's still a must win.

I knew Horry was going to be able to defend Odom before this series. He's old, but still one of the more mobile big man defenders in the league. His defensive play has been a consistency in the playoffs.

Oberto for a center, he is more mobile than others, and is a bit undersized - but he's been better than expected at times against Odom.

In my opinion Horry is doing a decent job on Larmar but I don't think he can keep Larmar from getting shots that he wants.

Larmar problem is he doesn't have a definetive thought of what he wants to do once he gets the ball. If you noticed Lamar is explosive once he just goes straight into his move, when he just dribbles and go nowhere the offense stalls .

Larmar just needs to be aggressive .

When Odom is aggresive and decisive, on THAT team with Pau and Kobe, as a third option, there are few teams that have an answer for him.

As a Spurs fan, I'm just counting on guys like Pau and Odom to not be consistently "big time" in our series. I thought they were inconsistent in the Denver series. Even more in the Jazz series. And as the pressure mounts, let's test those nerves in the WCF.

For a guy like Pau who has shown less than his best in past postseasons, I'm hoping he continues to let others carry the team.

Odom, being the third option is nice. But when your second option has his hands full with TD and his production is sputtering a little bit because of that, you have to become the 2nd option and produce like one. We'll throw the kitchen sink at Odom and hope we find some combination that helps slow him down. But, me personally, I'm counting on him (Odom) to do the rest to slow himself down by not being aggresive, to start doubting himself a little bit as the pressure mounts.

While people always say about Pau "But he's not 'the man' anymore..." - no, he's not, but he's still the 2nd man.

This is true, and there are still plenty of teams he would be 'the man' for at least on the offensive end.
