For everyone who is whining about the refs JUST STOP. It's embarassing. The greatest player in the game shot one free throw in two games in San Antonio. It goes both ways, the Lakers were stupid to allow San Antonio even in the position to have a final shot.

Last night Kobe took 29 shots with Scissorhands guarding him, how does he not go to the line? Be honest with yourselves, the refs let them play physical so don't start your conspiracy theories!

^ I don't get that line of thinking, just cause a guy shoots so much he should be getting fouled?? Rather than throw crap out, back it up with situations. I didn't see any clear shooting fouls on Kobe, the Spurs generally let him shoot open shots or if he drives they let him score without fouling him. it's ridiculous to say "how come kobe didn't shoot ft's" without any back up to show where he should of? You guys won, so get over it, Bring on game 5.

Get over it? I'm not the one who has page after page of whining about a no call. Everytime Kobe drives, Bowen rides him...they don't call it most the time because Bowen is known for good defense.

Most of the whining isn't by Spurs fans. Most of us have taken it on the chin already. This series isnt over yet.

A) Props on being a classy org with classy fans - I wish LA fans would consistently act as such.

B) Probably been covered, but why isn't KT getting more PT? Or is he getting his usual?

I think Pop thinks KT is too slow to cover either Gasol or Odom hence he's not getting burn. I think Pop needs to trust him more. We need him on the boards.

99% of the Spurs fans have been complete class acts, there are just a few who feel that this is some sort of conspiracy. The Spurs aren't done and they may have three games to prove that. They are the defending champs.

The Spurs have to do a better job to find consistancy on offense. More than just the Big 3 have to step up. In the case of last night, Brent Barry did step his game up, but inconsistancy still rear it's ugly head. Unless the Spurs dig deep to stay alive, Thursday could be the last night of the season for them. Good luck in game 5.

I know and the laker nation is impressed. I hope we follow the example.

and the series isn't over yet. You guys might pull one of the greatest comebacks ever, I have no doubt that's possible. I think we'll win, but I have no doubt that you guys are not done until it's official.

Laker fan here who reads realgm everyday but hardly ever post... but after having read through the responses by the spurs fans here, I had to post.

Utmost respect to you guys, pop and the organization.

You don't make any excuses whatsoever... that's why you're defending champs.

as CC and many others have already mentioned; I really wished other Laker fans (and heck even the organization itself) would follow suit.

Definitely happy with the 3-1 lead, but if there's a team I'm never comfortable up 3-1 against, it's the Spurs.

Best of luck with the rest of the series 8)
