Spurs vs Memphis 2.0...

Post#1 » by TAI8 » Mon Nov 24, 2008 10:50 pm

This should take the Spurs over .500 for the first time in a long time. Ginobili is back but I don't think he's ready enough to play huge minutes.

I would love to get this W.....

We have been playing some great D as of late.

I expect to see Hill matched up vs Mayo.

We have to contain Gay. Gay made that game winner vs us last year...

I love that our backcourt is strong enough to allow manu back quickly. I would like to see some glimpses of the real Manu tonight.

A win would be nice, but we simply cant expect them all the time with our team as injured as it is.

Great win, Mason and Hill having big nights, great to see the return of Ginobili, hopefully in the next 2 or 3 games we can have him logging close to his original minutes.

George Hill for president. He had another 20 point game. Mason is keeping up his string of good games shooting 5-7 from 3. Ginobili had a point for every minute he was on the court. Spurs D was excellent, containing Gay to 13 points on 6-19 shooting and Memphis to 81.

Very fun win there

Missed a decent chunk of the third, but yeah...

Just great to see Manu back - energy

Mason continues to just shoot the crap out of the ball and do other things effectively, I love this guy

George Hill is turning out to be quite the pick in the late 1st round - even though it was at Memphis, he played another strong game

Oh, and we still have Ian Mahinmi to come back soon :)

Mason and Hill have shown that our front office still has life..Mahinmi would make it a hat trick and would give back a lot of credibility and trust..

Man it was great to see Manu back out there...it was limited action last night, but already he looked better than he did in most of last season's WCFs (mostly in not settling for jump shots).

I continue to <3 Roger Mason.

Hill had a very solid road game.

I still think we're one decent big away, but this team still looks VERY capable of making serious noise in the playoffs.

Not happy with Spurs' defensive efforts in the 2nd half, especially when TP was on the floor. Spurs allowed 62 pts. in the last 2 quarters. The guys seem to play better offensively with Roger Mason at point and better defensively with Hill at point. I would rather see TP in spot minutes.
