our backcourt is incredibly deep..Parker, Manu, Mason, Hill and a rejuvenated Finley..incredible how we actually have a bench now..

now we need to do something about the SF position and one of the big men position..I actually don't mind having Bonner coming off the bench, he's playing with confidence and is making shots..we need a legit big with Tim, and I'd like to see a SF sharing mins with Bruce..Ime doesn't do it..getting Azubuike somehow would be nice, since Golden State now has an abundance of swingmen..

mason and parker will be our backcourt

we know gino can get his any time he wants, his the spark off the bench that we need...him and hill off the bench is a nice tandem, alot of touches to go around instead of parker iso down court.....

This is kid can score, and under Pop's coaching, he should be a main guy for the Spurs in 2 years.

I'm really wondering what Mahinmi can bring us. If he could somehow contribute, that would be huge.

Bit disappointed in Kurt Thomas for the moment.

The Spurs really need Mahinmi to be a contributor. I think we're all pretty comfortable with the way the backcourt is shaping up, but we're still pretty thin up front. There are a lot of teams in the west with two quality bigs on their front line. Amare-Shaq, Bynum-Gasol, West-Chandler, Boozer-Okur, Aldridge-Oden, etc........

Man i love how well Hill and Mason have gelled with the team. Given us hope for the season. The big thing will be Ian coming in. If he can give us 8/8 and some tough interior D then we'll have a legit shot at doing something this season.

GH has looked really good so far. we just need mahinmi to help duncan on the boards and we'll be able to run with LA imo.

All I can ask for is for Ian to rebound at a high rate when he is on the floor. I don't care if he fouls out in 15 mins but in those 15 mins to be a guy who eats up the boards.

Yeah, a rebounding big is a must. Hill is a very nice rebounding guard, BTW.

Thank you Blame Rasho

Hill confidence is what surprise me so far. Most young players will get rattled under Pop but Hill doesn't seem to fall apart. I agree the Spurs still need a big man which can rebound and guard athletic PF's

If you told me on draft day that our first rounder, George Hill would outplay the 1st pick of the draft who has been balling as of late I would have told you are you f'ing kidding me? Go away...

I was dead wrong about him... I was on the Batum bandwagon for a very long time but I just jumped ship and landed on the George Hill express....

He (and Mason) really surprised me. To come in after those summer games and give Duncan support like this ...in the SAS system. Hopefully he'll still get some good minutes now that tp en manu are back.

after we drafted hill i tried to remain positive, but the truth was i was disappointed. with a few big names left we passed on them all and took a no name geogre hill. but like, like all spurs fans, im glad our frontoffice is so shrewd when drafting.
