And it's probably time to call the Sheed speculation a bunch of BS.
Joe Dumars isn't exactly, completely stupid as a gM. He's managed to prove in the past that he knows what he's doing most of the time. He's not working for the Mavs or Suns owner either. So, I don't see why on earth he'd just give Sheed away. He comes off the books this summer. If they think he'll walk with nothing to show for him, then they need to be talking to teams like the Blazers, Bulls, or some lotto teams... a team that thinks they are on the verge for pulling off some upset in the playoffs or a team that wants to clear cap space, and has some pics/young players to spare.
We have Mason and Hill... but not to spare. We need those guys with or without a Sheed.
