Bonner to play for Canada

Post#1 » by hoopsaddict » Fri Mar 6, 2009 2:39 am

Hey Spurs fans! When the team was in Toronto I was able to chat with Matt Bonner about his decision to play for Canada starting this summer. I also talked with the head coach for the team, Leo Rautins, about what Bonner's role will be.

This Canadian team could win silver

C- Samuel Dalenbert
PF - Matt Bonner/ Joel Anthony
SF- ?????
SG - Denham Brown (former ucon player drafted by Seattle)
PG - Steve Nash

Great article, I guess this means Dalembert's days with team Canada are over already. Can't wait to see him suit up for us in the summer.

I think the addition of Matt Bonner could make them a touch more respectable. The roster is still a shambles from top to bottom though.

no Nash, no Dalembert.

Our one "chance" was our showing in Sydney... and even that was 7th :P
