Ime Udoka

Post#1 » by el loco » Mon Mar 30, 2009 8:03 pm

Do you guys like his game? I only ask because every time I have had the opportunity to see him play, he hasn't played very well. If you look at his career stats, he is regressing as a player imo. He shoots below 40% from the floor on the season. What is it about his game that keeps him in a Spurs uniform and in Pops rotation? I am not trying to bash him even though I guess I am doing to an extent, but I am just trying to figure out what it is about his game that keeps getting/earning him minutes. Last year he connected on his 3's at a decent percentage, but this season he is below average in this area of his game.

He was brought in as the heir apparent to Bruce Almighty.

Let's just say it hasn't quite turned out as originally planned.

I still remember one game against the Lakers last year when he pretty much shut Kobe down.

Bingo

He plays good defense from time to time and he's an okay rebounder aside from that he really doesn't bring much to the table.
