Given a day to digest it all, I'm not feeling as...negative as I was when I first heard he was done. I was positively EMO when I found out. Now...not so much.

It's kind of similar to the McGrady situation in Houston. Ginobili is the better player but there was a distinct difference in the way the Rockets played after T Mac shut it down for the year. Obviously I'd rather go into the playoffs with Gino available but we've got to go with the troops we've got.

It's most likely homeristic delusion on my part but I'll stick to my original thoughts: the only team that can beat us in a 7 game series is the Lakers.
