Game 5, Mavs up 3-1

Post#1 » by Nolan » Wed Apr 29, 2009 2:33 am

When: 9:30 PM ET, April 28, 2009
Where: AT&T Center San Antonio, TX

Down 3-1 heading back home. Hopefully we get a win and extend this series, but its not looking so far tonight. Duncan and Parker are going to have to be huge as always because well we have no besides them.

Lets go Spurs!!

I lost all hope of winning the series when we lost game 4. I'm not at all surprised by the lack of contribution from our players. If this is the best offensive team we ever had, I don't see it.

Matt Bonner is a worst version of Robert Horry.

Roger Mason is a worst version of Steve Kerr.

Other than Manu, Duncan, and Parker, the rest of our team won't even start on most teams.

I certainly don't want Roger Mason to be starting and playing 30 minutes a game again next year. He's not that good. Manu should

Don't want Finley to start anymore either.

Bonner should never be our starting Center again. with a full training camp, I think Gooden should get a starting nod.

It's been a lost season. Our team never really clicked.

I don't recall things looking good before Manu went down either.

The spurs never really went on a roll. Bonner and Mason shot the lights out this season but even I don't expect them to become a 45% 3PT shooter again next year. I was never a fan of Mason because he's shown that he's nothing more than a 3 point shooter. same with Bonner. I was actually hoping Horry came back to the team this year because atleast he's still better defensively than any of our bigs.

I always ask the question. With a full team, are we as good as the Lakers, Cavs, or Celtics? I didn't think so before and obviously not now.

no way you were catching the Lakers, so when Manu went down you were sitting pretty in 2nd place most of the season.

It is actually a pretty cool place to see games and fights. I also know the franchince owner there and we get like 50% off on the tab excluding alcohol.

Return to San Antonio Spurs
