Any word on how good he is? do the Spurs FO even have any interest about bringing him on board?

Haven't seen him play yet but he's been productive off the bench for France in Eurobasket this year. There haven't been any word on the Spurs bringing him over this year and I don't think that's likely. He's one of those projects we have that we'll stash overseas until he's proven himself ala Manu. So far, it looks like he's on the right path so I'll say i hope we'll be bringing him over within the next 2 summer. Either next year or the year after.

He will play in Spain next year, at Valencia.

What's his contract situation? I don't know anything about it cause it's never been brought up that we'll bring Nando in. Is there a big buyout or something that can prevent him from coming to the NBA if he chooses to?

There is no problem with his contract. Nando want to play in NBA and for the Spurs. He'll play in Spain because of the Spurs staff. If they want him to play one year he will play one year, if they want him to play two years, he will play two years. The contract has been signed after the draft. Don't worry about it.

When you say Next year, do you mean this upcoming year? Cause I thought you were replying to me when I said that if things go well, we should probably sign him next year (i mean summer of 2010 and he'll come play for the 2010-11 season).

I think you guys should be concerned with trying to bring over Splitter. He'll able to leave after next season and would certainly fix the problems at PF.

All the reports I read sounds like the guy is tearing it up. What a 2nd round pick up. I would imagine we stash this guy away for a while. No real big rush to get him over as Georgie seems to be working out real nice. Better to let him mature on someone else's dime.

I am however getting concerned that tony is playing way too many minutes. He seems to be kicking butt but all those long mins is definately going to effect him come season time.
