I don't think anyone really think the Spurs will get an offer for Dwight. This is more of a "What If" kinda thing.

I'll agree that the only reason the Spurs won't do it is because of loyalty. If, for instance, the Magic do offer us that deal, AND Duncan feels he has a better chance to win with the Magic and OK's the trade, the Spurs will be stupid to turn that offer down.

It's something that I would do in NBA LIVE Dynasty mode everytime. Trade my over the hill Superstar for a new and young Superstar. Heck, I wish I could turn Duncan and Manu into Dwight and Brandon Roy right now.

In dream land, the Spurs get this offer and accept it.

In reality, the Spurs will never get this offer, and won't accept it unless Duncan says so.
