And the projection for his stats.

I'll tell you, he's a guy I trust more than some guys here who just flat out Splitter homers and from Brazil or whatever thinking Splitter is better than Pau Gasol.

Splitter isn't better than Gasol nor will he ever be. None the less an excellent pick up. He'll be a big part of the Spurs for years to come.

I've always been a Spurs fan from a distance and this move may be what they need to reload for another run. Splitter doesnt have to be Pau Gasol just good enough to help Duncan on defense and give them another option down low. Getting this guy is like adding a top 5 draft pick in this years draft.

I'm from Brazil but i'm realistic about Splitter. He is not better than Paul Gasol and he is not the new Duncan LOL.

But he is really talented and if Pop gives him enough minutes, he is going to be one of the best rookies in the NBA.

To be really honest, Splitter is the only thing that made me happy in the offseason. Resigning Bonner and RJ for 4 years made me sick.
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”
