I would not even think it could happen if it wasn't for Demps leaving the Spurs to be the GM for the Hornets. But it works..... we can even throw in a protected first rounder, but really i rather just give them the first rounder early because it will most likely in the low 20s or 30s. We have what he is looking for with Manu, Duncan, Splitter, even RJ are better players than what he was playing with over in NO other than David West.

i didnt say its going to happen, i said i wouldn't even think it could happen if it wasn't for Demps becoming the Hornets GM. But you're right, i never would have thought we would re-sign Bonner (who by-the-way isn't spending his time working on his game or lack there of....... no, he is trying to find the prefect sandwich) but we did......... *cry softly inside*
Also, i wouldnt give Hill and Parker, i would give Parker/draft picks/and maybe i will take back Posey

Re: CP3 TO SA
If RJ didnt opted out, we had all the pieces for the trade. It would have been Parker, Jefferson and Dyse for Posey, CP3, and Okafor. Hornets would want to get rid of Okafor contract, which means teams need about 25mil to trade with to get Paul.

If there is a chance, I think SAS should offer anything not named Manu/Timmy to trade for CP3.

We would have to gut the team. Not sure CP3 is worth it if he doesn't commit beyond his 2 yrs.
We know for sure we can lock up TP.

That's ridiculous. It's Chris Paul. Parker and Hill would be fine to give up to get him, they all play the same position. This deal would never happen though, NO already has Collison, they don't need to deal Paul for 2 MORE PGs.

Re: CP3 TO SA
NO wants to package Okafor with Paul meaning a total salary of upward of 25mil. Even with Parker and Hill they only make up 15mil. Meaning another 10mil in salary would have to be ponyed up by the Spurs.

LOL at the Knicks trading Douglas, Gallinari, and Curry's expiring for Parker, who they could only be renting.

Have the Knicks sunk so low that they can't retain an FA they would have Bird rights to, despite being
A) the "Mecca" of basketball
B) being richer than God and having absolutely no fear of Max contracts
C) having the opportunity to offer Parker an extension under the CURRENT CBA, not the next one
D) Being what they hope is an up-trending team with a lot of talent, attempting to put together a big 3 to rival Miami - Amare, Parker, ???
LOL indeed...
