Tony Parker trade anyone?

Post#1 » by TAI8 » Tue Sep 14, 2010 11:37 pm

I don't know I just feel Parker is not the indispensable player he once was with Hill emerging as a solid up and coming player. I think the Spurs still have one more year left in them to make a title run and are just a few pieces away from doing so. I think Parker is totally redundant with Hill on the roster, and thus should trade Parker for a good defensive big or two. Of course this will leave the Spurs without a good backup PG but that hardly matters when you have as much talent as the Spurs. What do you guys think?

I'd be willing to deal him for the right price.

lol @ avatar..

regarding Parker, I dont think spurs should trade him unless they get an all star player in return. George Hill hasnt really proved himself yet (aside from a few good games in the playoffs), he is nowhere near the level of TP. I think coming off the bench for another season on two will make Hill go a long way with possibly taking over Parker's spot in the starting lineup. For the time being Parker should remain with the Spurs and have Hill back him up. Best possible scenario IMO
