No interest from the Spurs.

I really think there's got to be a reason so many teams have passed on him. I heard he was out of shape but there's got to be something else going on as well.

I've heard that he's a head case or something but I don't see this front court being good enough defensively to win a title with. Last time I checked our defense is rated 10th and that's not gonna cut it if we hope to contend one last time. I've heard all this talk from the players how this is our last chance to win a title and what is our front office doing to show for it? Our offense is freaking amazing but you can't win a title without great defense and we don't have the players to do just that.

Having the 10th rated defense isn't enough for you? Our defense isn't as bad as your making it out to be. Splitter has shown flashes that he can become that defensive stopper that we need next to Duncan and as the season progresses Pops will give him more minutes. Plus when the playoffs come around guys like Duncan, Dice, Manu and Parker will all step it up a notch

I really don't think we need Dampier especially if he could become a distraction. I'd rather wait and see what Splitter can do with more minutes. Plus Blair is finally starting to play like he did in preseason and his defense has really improved since last year.
