OKC got a lot better and tougher. Perkins, Ibaka, Durant, Thabo, and Westbrook is an awesome defensive lineup. Then still have Nazr, Nick, Harden, Maynor off the bench. It will be an interesting 2nd round matchup if we meet them in the 2nd round.

Good moves for OKC. Green was a bit of a disappointment for them. I'm surprised the C's dealt Perkins, I thought he was a big part of their future. Obviously not.

Perk would give us trouble in a playoff series.

I love the way Presti's built this team. None of their moves, whether it's drafting, free agency or trades, were panic moves, or lateral moves. He's patient building the team and has a real eye toward the future.

Dragic for Aaron Brooks. Battier back to Memphis for Thabeet. Weird move. Weird trade deadline all round. How many PG's got moved?

The most confusing one is Pacers getting OJ Mayo and 1st round pick for Josh McRoberts. That does not make sense at all.

Well the deal didn't get done in time so its not happening. But I agree that it made no sense for either team. Why the Pacers needed Mayo is beyond me. They already have a log jam at SG/SF and I don't think they could of afforded to lose McRoberts. And for the Grizzlies it makes no sense considering they just lost Gay to injury.

Don't like the Sun's picking up Brooks. It makes no sense at all for them. Dragic could at least play some SG for them and play with Nash. But I can't see Brooks doing that, so that bascially just makes him Nash's backup. Also I think the gap between Dragic and Brooks isn't very big, Dragic is a very talented player.

I'm suprised that the Jazz didn't try to unload AK-47, Milsap and Big Al. O hope they don't just try to retool that team, they need to blow that team up and rebuild from the ground up.

What happened in Utah? A year ago they were contenders. Why would Sloan and D-Will be gone so abruptly? Makes no sense. Yeah, they should've cleaned house and started from scratch.

I'm surprised the Suns didn't trade their loads of SF.

As Nolan said, why trade for Brooks when all he will be is a backup point? It might of made some sense if they moved Nash as well.

The only trades that made sense to me were the Melo and Green/Perk ones. The rest were baffling.

I thought Memphis did well considering they didn't trade Mayo.

Traded Thabeet who barely plays at all for Battier. I have to believe Battier is too good for them not to get minutes. By playoff time, Gay might be playing SG and Battier at SF with Zach and Gasol. Sam Young wasn't a SG anyways and they were playing him at SG. Memphis got a whole lot better by getting Battier IMO.

OKC did awesome. I think Boston will end up regretting that move in the future unless they win the whole thing this year. I believe finding a Kendrick Perkins is much harder than finding a Jeff Green. Plus, where exactly does that put Glen Davis?

Lots of moves I don't like but I guess it served a purpose.

Baron Davis swapped with Mo Williams. Cavs only interested in the draft pick and they made that clear. I just hope they don't buy him out cause I think he's going straight to Lakers if that happens since he's from LA.

Atlanta trading for Hinrich is good. Bibby will probably get a buy out. Lakers and Miami are prime candidates too. Sucks to know because they're already good enough with the team they have. I want them to get worse, not better.

At this stage of his career, I don't see Bibby as a difference maker. Is he an upgrade over Fisher and Arroyo -- of course. But I don't see him as the reason why a team wins a series or not.

Its been a crazy year for the Jazz. But I think they learned from what happened with Boozer last year, the writing was on the wall that D-Will wasn't going to resign. So they shipped him out and got back some good pieces.

I like what the Rockets has done. They should give Thabeet a lot of playing time this year. They really needed a big, specially with a defensive mind. Shotblocking, intimidation and rebounding..
Shane is going to be a FA this summer.
Also Brooks wasn't playing and producing that much, so Dragic is a good bet. Much better playmaker+defender that can also play the SG position.
They will have a lot of first round picks!!

Also like what OKC did, though they are still a jumpshooting team. There's not much offense in the paint, let's see how that works in the PO...

I really like the Dragic + 1st for Brooks deal for the Rockets. Dragic is going to work well in Houston.
