GT: Kings vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Wed Apr 6, 2011 4:29 am

When: 8:30 PM ET, April 6, 2011
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Starting Lineups:

Kings:
PG - Tyreke Evans
SG - Marcus Thornton
SF - Francisco Garcia
PF - DeMarcus Cousins
C - Samuel Dalembert

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobli
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Antonio McDyess

We're coming off 2 much needed wins to face the Kings in what should be another very winnable game. The key to winning this game is going to be shutting down the Kings guard trio of Evans, Thornton and Udrih. If our guards can outplay them on both ends then we should have a good shot at winning this game.

Go Spurs!!

No way we lose this game. We're still fighting off LA and Chicago for the top seed. Basically, we have a reason to come out and play while Sacramento doesn't. And, we're at home. We won't drop this game.

Number 1 seed clinched, thanks to the Lakers 3 game losing streak! Let's rest our guys for the real season!

Not yet. We've gone this far to claim the best record in the NBA, the aim should not only be the West's best record, but the NBA's best in case we meet Chicago in NBA Finals. I think rest will come in the last and final game of the season.

I tend to think that if we somehow manage to beat the Lakers, we can handle whoever comes out of the east...I'm not saying we shouldn't go for HCA through the playoffs, it's right there for the taking, but we shouldn't break our backs.
