Yeah... I can't see Barney being a good fit hit... he is just a better Matt Bonner and he isn't what we need. We need a badass mofo... and I don't think Barney has ever been called that in his entire NBA career even for one game.

He is much better defender than Bonner he is man-2-man D is very good, only his help defense sucks with Duncan it wouldn't be a big bother. He also has a decent size and good strength to guard most players. He is a highrisk/highreward player. There's no chance Spurs get anyone better than him. Unless there's a way to get someone like Taj Gibson. Maybe he would fit better, getting Leonard was a good move too.

^i disagree with that, the spurs can definitely do better than bargs. They still have the big three in Ginobli, parker, duncan. Trading pieaces in RJ and Blair. All five of those players teams would be looking to acquire. RJ's contract isn't as appealing, however he has size and he still can contribute. Blair is still cheap. Bargs does nothing for this team that a player like CV or Gooden doesn't also bring. he's a spread 4, and SAS are looking for defense. Maybe Blair for Anthony Randolph

oh my... Gooden and CV are in their own league of bad when it comes to defense and not nearly as talented offensively

Randolph is just average and I don't see him turning into a star caliber player tbh

All these guys are lvl below Bargs even if you are not a fan of spread4s' comparing him to Randolph is just not fair lol

^Bargs talent wise is above them, contract wise he's right there with them.

i wonder if he would have all the energy to drop 20 ppg if he rebounded, played defense and played in the west?

CV is a poor man's Bargs.

Gooden is a bum's..........he's just a bum.

AR at least has talent and a good contract, being on a contender and next to a HOF like duncan could change his mindset

Return to San Antonio Spurs
