Rasho offically retired from basketball today. Today is a very sad day.

Thought he retired a while ago. The basketball world will never be the same with him no longer part of it. In all seriousness, we made fun of him, as did everyone else evidently, but he actually wasn't that bad a player.

And the center position just gets worse.... haha

But yeah, he was a serviceable role-playing center on both sides of the court, didn't have a bad career at all.

Honestly, for Rasho, some impressive clips in that video, though...

Rasho 1 - Patrick Ewing 0

Seriously, he carved himself a nice career in the NBA, and BTW spent the last season in Greek powerhouse Olympiakos.

I didn't really blame him for anything truth be told... always did the best he could with the ability he had. Which sadly not the norm for other players who are significantly more skilled and athletic than him.

A bit off-topic, I remember enjoying a great fantasy month maybe 2-3 seasons ago, when Rasho was in Toronto and all of a sudden started dropping 15-18 points regularly and making mid-range jumpers automatically. It was towards the end of the season and Toronto were not making the playoffs when he suddenly put it all together. Awesome!
